How to connect iSteady Multi via bluetooth?
1. Download and install APP "Hohem Gimbal" (which can be found on Google Play and App Store).
2. Open the bluetooth, then open "Hohem Gimbal" APP and select the corresponding model to connect.

Bluetooth connection
Fail to connect Bluetooth
iSteady Multi doesn't connect with my smartphone,it says "device not found" and the bluetooth light is on only for 2 seconds when i turn on the gimbal?
1.- Make sure the APP you've downloaded is "Hohem Gimbal", on your smartphone, please turn on the Bluetooth and GPS signal.
2.- Mount and balance your smartphone before turning on the gimbal.
3.- To connect, enter directly to the APP and select your Gimbal Model: "iSteady Multi". Please do not connect it to the smartphone bluetooth, just the APP.The Bluetooth light ONLY on when the gimbal is connected with App successfully, otherwise the Bluetooth light is off.
When im going in to bluetooth settings it shows that its connecet with it, but when i trying to go in the App and pair it its not happening, how can i do?
This issue was due to the bluetooth channel of the smartphone is already occupied.Please note that the bluetooth should be connected directly on the App, rather than in the smartphone bluetooth list.
Please enter into your smartphone bluetooth list, cancel and delete the bluetooth signal.Then try to connect the gimbal on the App via bluetooth.

Why does the iSteady Multi keeps vibrating after turning on?
It's possible that the smartphone is not well mounted and balanced on this gimbal, that's what causes the vibration of this, please make sure the smartphone is well mounted and balanced on the gimbal, otherwise, this can hurt the motors.

How can I control the camera to focus and take pictureswith the gimbal?
It is supported to use the Sony Multi cable to connect with the Sony camera for photo taking and recording. (SONY DSC-RX100/N50 are not supported with iSteady Multi for camera control features).

How do I turn on the iSteady Multi for the first time?
Before turning on the gimbal, make sure you have your device well mounted, adjust the knobs based on every device's weight, try this until this gets well balanced.

1. Please check if the power button is defective.2. Please check if your gimbal is fully charged (tap the shutter button once to check the battery status).3. Please be noted that the gimbal is not able to power on while it is charging.

What are the differences between the iSteady Mobile + and the iSteady Multi?
The iSteady Multi is a 3 on 1 gimbal, this can support action camera, smartphone and Compact cameras, iSteady Mobile + is only for smartphones.
Battery capacity
How much charge does the iSteady Multi can support? How do I plug it to charge?
This supports 3600mAh of charging. We recommend that the battery time doesn't exceed the time of 3.5 hours. Please make sure you connect the USB charging cable to a 5V 110/220V Head Charger, plug this into a regular wall socket, we don't recomend to use this with a Fast Charger and you can charge your smartphone with the gimbal as a powerbank! You have 4 lights on the side of the gimbal that shows the life of this.

How do I know on what level is my battery? Is there some kind of indicator?
On the side of the gimbal you will have 4 lighted dots, this will show the battery life of the Gimbal.
Charging while working
Can I use the iSteady Multi while charging this item?
It is not recomended to do this because this can swallow up the battery and hurt it's life time.
Gimbal is not stabilizingafter turning on
How to do if the roll motor is not stabilizing?
Note: Make sure your device is well manual balanced before powering on the gimbal.
1. Please connect the APP "Hohem Gimbal" via bluetooth to set the parameter as default. ( For iOS phones: Open the APP, click "Settings -- Parameter Presets -- Normal -- Confirm --- Save" then restart the gimbal. For Andriod phones, please open the APP, click "Settings -RESTORE-Save".)
2. If upper solution does not work, please do 6-side calibration.
Firmware information
Do I need to update the firmware version the first time I use the iSteady Multi?
Our latest devices come with the latest firmware version, you won't need to update anything until this shows an update.
4K video
App fail to record 4K video?
1. The resolution of video taking based on your phone camera, if your phone camera supports 4K video, the app is able to make 4K video (The resolution is able to set in the app).
2.The front-facing camera of smartphone can not support 4K video.
3. It requires to disable the “video face tracking”(up to 2160P) to record 4K video.

1. Please make sure to connect the gimbal with APP "Hohem Gimbal" successfully via bluetooth.
2. Tap the power button(shutter) once to take photo, tap the power button twice to start/end record.
Face following
Does the iSteady Multi support the Face Following tracking feature?
This can be selected on our APP, make sure you are fully connected for this, above the shooter button (on the screen) there is a circle, when you press this, you will be able to enable the Face Following tracking feature. This feature can only be used with smartphone.
Motors get hot
Why the motors of iSteady Multi get hotafter working for hours?
1, It's normal of the gimbal, the motors work to balance the smartphone based on its weight. It is recommended to power off the gimbal if it already works for hours.
2, Make sure the smartphone is well balanced on the gimbal before powering on the gimbal, the motors will be get hot if the smartphone or camera is not well balanced.

The battery of iSteady Multi is not able to remove.

How to use Inception Mode?
1. Power on the gimbal after mounting and balancing the smartphone.
2. Tap the mode button 4 times.
3. Adjust the orientation of the smartphone and control the joystick left and right.

How to reset the gimbal?
Please open the APP, click "Settings -- Parameter Presets -- Normal -- Confirm --- Save" then restart the gimbal.

What is the function of trigger button?
1. Press on the trigger, the motor will be able to fast follow along with your movement, which enable to shoot the target with quick movement, it is sport mode.
